TV ‘EXTENDED NETWORK’ SUMMER SCREENING SERIES
CALLS FOR SUBMISSIONS:
JUNE 29- Screening #1: Basic Cable:
We invite all artists working in film and video media with pieces related
to the topic of ‘Movement and Sound’ to submit works. Works must be 10
minutes or under in length and submitted on DVD or mini-DV format.
*Deadline for Submissions: June 15, 2006
JULY 16- Screening #2: Public Access:
PONY TV partners with Cinemasports and the SAT (Society of Arts and Technologies)
to stage the first ever Cinemasports event in MontrÎal. Participants should
apply in teams. If single participants wish to apply they will be placed
in a team. The event begins the morning of July 16, the final screening
is open to the public and begins at 8pm the night of July 16th. The Public
Screening will be held at the SAT, 1195 St. Laurent Blvd. in MontrÎal.

AUGUST 19- Screening #3: Premium Selection:
Call for silent video and film works between 1-15 minutes in length. Subject
matter is open, though we encourage submission of experimental works.
Calls for musicians based in Montreal to collaborate for a live, improvised
soundtrack during the screening. Musicians will have the opportunity to
meet and view the video works prior to the screening.
*Deadline for Submissions: August 5, 2006
*Please Note The Following:
-If you are submitting work on DVD please make sure that the DVD is formatted
for Region 1 and compatible with all players (standard DVD players, Mac
and Windows)
-If you are submitting work on mini-DV please make sure the tape is cued.
-All works that do not have either English or French as their main language
must be subtitled in either English or French.
Please include the following with your submission:
-Supporting materials:
-biography, artist statement, information about the work including date
produced, exhibition format, exhibition history.
-Self-addresses, stamped envelope if you wish to have the work returned.
Shipping Concerns:
All works sent by mail should be postmarked one week before the submission
deadline. If shipping by mail please ensure your work is well packaged.
PONY TV is not responsible for any damaged property.
All shipping costs to and from Montreal must be borne by the sender. All
packages received that have not been prepaid for customs will be returned
un-opened to the sender.
If you require confirmation of delivery please include your email address
with the package and you will be notified upon delivery.
